Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical/team lead role
- Proven experience in designing and building complex distributed systems using .NET/C#
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices
- Strong knowledge of database systems; SQL Server experience is a must
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication skills in both Greek and English
- A passion for clean code, performance optimization, and continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of robust, scalable software solutions using .NET/C# and modern technologies
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, with high unit test coverage and a strong focus on quality
- Provide technical leadership to the team, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts) to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to the architectural vision of the team, and participate in architecture and code reviews
- Mentor and support team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Identify and address technical risks, system performance issues, and scalability concerns
- Drive the implementation of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our stack and processes
- Create and maintain technical and architectural documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and technologies like Apache Kafka or Confluent Cloud is a plus
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Blazor, React) is a plus
- Solid understanding of cloud-native development and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing
