Software Engineer

Summary

Join Anrok, a company tackling sales tax compliance for internet businesses, as a Software Engineer. You will collaborate with colleagues to understand customer needs, design systems, and build product experiences. Responsibilities include owning feature development, identifying and fixing bugs, and collaborating with support to address customer issues. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software engineering experience and 4+ years building web application backends. Frontend experience is a plus. Requirements

You have a strong technical background, with 7+ years of experience working as a software engineer and 4+ years of experience building web application backends

Responsibilities

• Own the scoping, design, and development of product features
• Identify and fix bugs and technical debt
• Collaborate with Support to address technical issues for customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frontend development is a plus, but not required
• You think through problems thoroughly to ensure we're building the right solution to the right problem at the right time, and you will push back when necessary
• Your designs take into account current and future needs, technical debt, and maintenance, and you can clearly articulate the tradeoffs
• You level up the people around you by sharing your knowledge and experience
