Software Engineer

Requirements

• You're an engineer who can apply infrastructure engineering skills with a platform product mindset, who has skills in software and network engineering
• You have experience with Golang
• You have an understanding of Cloud Networking in providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• You have a working understanding of network engineering principles and practices, proficiency with networking protocols e.g. IP, DNS and TLS and an understanding of Kubernetes networking
• You have experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms to create a foundation for building secure, reliable and performant systems
• You have knowledge of web application architecture in the context of cloud providers
• You have experience using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage cloud infrastructure
• You have hands-on experience using AI in coding / programming to drive greater impact

Responsibilities

• Designing interfaces and building the software to enable engineers to self-service their network infrastructure
• Using IaC and our PaaS to define and operate large global networks
• Building a network platform to provide ubiquitous access to services between multiple cloud service providers and regions
• Working with stakeholders and other platform teams to forge Canva’s cloud platform products
