Requirements

• Knowledge of engineering best practices
• Familiarity with a range of technologies and capacity to learn new ones quickly
• Ability to conduct patient, pragmatic code and design reviews
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Organized, practical, and dependable
• Experience working with the government
• Located in and authorized to work in the United States
• Lived in the United States for at least three of the last five years
• At least seven years of professional experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure your team of 4-6 engineers is building great systems and operating them reliably
• Design and implement technically challenging and critical components
• Build the team by mentoring, interviewing, and contributing to performance reviews
• Develop vision based on client needs and technical expertise
• Represent the team from a technical perspective
