Software Engineering Team Lead

Summary

Join our team as a Software Engineering Team Lead to spearhead our ETH MEV team. You will lead and mentor a team of blockchain experts, oversee the development and maintenance of MEV bots, and set engineering priorities. Responsibilities include optimizing performance, providing insights on best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working on data analysis projects. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams, 5+ years designing scalable backend systems, and 3+ years in blockchain, with a focus on MEV. Expertise in Go and strong communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in managing an Engineering team
• At least 5 years of experience with designing, building, testing and implementing highly scalable and distributed backend systems
• 3+ years experience in Blockchain
• 2+ years experience in Blockchain MEV
• Experience with ETH or BSC MEV, including mev-boost and PBS
• Expertise using Go language
• Strong communication and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of blockchain core experts focusing on MEV services/mempool transactions for ETH
• Oversee the development and maintenance of MEV bots, searchers, and relayers interacting with Ethereum
• Set engineering priorities and timelines, ensuring successful delivery of projects from research to production
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance
• Provide insight on best practices working with validators and traders in regards to ETH
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support blockchain best solutions
• Work on special data analysis projects, as needed
