Software Engineer

Summary

Join Cronos Group as a Java Software Engineer in a remote role and contribute to a strategic IT project enhancing a backend collateral management system. Requirements

• Minimum of 11 years in Java software development
• Proven expertise in Java (preferably Java 17)
• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Demonstrated experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Familiarity with ComKit libraries (Java implementation of WSS)
• Experience working with REST APIs, Kafka, MQ, and automated testing environments
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field
• Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English is required, French is an asset

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile refinement and estimation sessions
• Develop new functionalities based on detailed business and technical specifications
• Ensure complete test coverage for all developed features (TDD/BDD)
• Maintain and adapt automated test cases as needed
• Actively engage in code reviews and continuous release processes
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the business domain through hands-on work with TRM functionalities
