Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert for network infrastructure on a global scale
• Troubleshoot complex problems across many layers of Discord’s architecture
• Support the growth and stability of nearly every function of Discord
• Establish primitives that allow other teams to confidently and efficiently serve user requests

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Cloud Networking / Service Mesh (e.g. Envoy)
• Experience working with Kubernetes

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 to $180,000 + equity + benefits
