Summary

The GAMURS Group is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to improving user experiences across their network of gaming and entertainment sites. Key responsibilities include writing high-level code, collaborating with team members, providing technical support, contributing to internal planning, ensuring website performance, and deploying work in the production environment.

Requirements

• You have an understanding of the fundamentals of computer science and software engineering
• You have confidence in working with PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• You have excellent communication skills in English
• You are able to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Contribute directly to the Product team by writing high-level code
• Ensure quality through pull request reviews
• Collaborate with team members and other teams in order to deliver new product features
• Provide support by investigating and addressing technical support issues
• Contribute to the team in internal planning
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of our websites
• Deploy and manage your own work in our production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• You have knowledge of technical SEO
• You have familiarity with Cloudflare and its products
• You have experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js
• You have recent experience in working with WordPress and its ecosystem
• You have experience working with high-traffic, high-scale websites
