Requirements

• 3-6 years of full-time professional experience as a software engineer
• Desire and capability to deliver user-centered, intuitive, high-quality software that improves educator effectiveness
• High proficiency in full-stack web development including: modern frontend technologies, backend RESTful APIs, and data retrieval and storage through SQL or NoSQL databases
• Designed, developed, deployed and monitored user-facing product features that leverage ML, AI, or LLMs
• Created and curated prompts and datasets for training, fine-tuning and evaluation
• Working knowledge of version control, CI/CD, and cloud computing
• Motivation to grow professionally

Responsibilities

• Contribute quality, well-tested code across the stack and actively participate in insightful code reviews
• Design and implement new UX/UI and API features and enhancements with a forward-thinking approach including AI integration
• Provide teammates with regular communication, problem-solving assistance, and thoughtful feedback
• Collaborate with other teams to design, develop, and maintain an accessible, exceptional user experience for educators
• Maintain and continuously improve upon existing applications and your own professional expertise
