As a Software Engineer, you'll work on delivering high-quality code, improving efficiency, and developing new insurance products. You'll be part of a friendly team based in Westlake Village, CA, with international hubs across the US, UK, and Netherlands.

Requirements

  • Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, including integrating with databases and third-party APIs
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and systems
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
  • Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and high-performing
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve development practices
  • Document development processes, code, and other technical information
  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs

Responsibilities

  • Delivering high quality code to help improve efficiency of existing processes and deliver new insurance products to market
  • The development of new insurance products, working with stakeholders on scoping, design, all the way through delivery and implementation
  • Our customer service tools (both self-serve for customers and for our staff)
  • Improving our existing sales tools and building new integrations with tools like HubSpot and Argyle
