Software Engineer

Summary

Join InvoiceCloud's Software Engineering team as a remote Software Engineer, preferably located in the Boston, MA area (Eastern Time Zone). You will contribute to maintaining and improving our .Net and ASP applications, converting legacy VB6 applications to C#, and working through a backlog of tickets. Collaboration with the development team in a two-week sprint cycle is essential. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of the .Net stack. Entry-level engineers are encouraged to apply. Compensation includes a base salary within a specified range, with potential for annual bonuses or commissions and overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 2+ years’ experience using Microsoft technologies, including: VB.NET, C#, Visual Studio (Web, Console, and Library projects), .NET Framework, ADO.NET, T-SQL

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining our existing .Net and aps applications
• Aid in Converting legacy VB6 application to a C# application
• Work through a backlog of tickets
• Collaborate with the rest of the dev team in 2 a week sprint cycle
• Perform periodic on-call support for after-hours deployment/maintenance windows
