Software Engineer

Summary

Join mabl's engineering team and contribute to enhancing the integration between mabl's low-code test automation platform and various third-party software systems. You will upgrade and extend existing integrations, build new integrations with collaboration tools, CI/CD platforms, and other test frameworks, and actively incorporate customer feedback. This fully remote position requires daily overlap during US Eastern working hours (9 am-noon ET) with flexible hours for the rest of the day. Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience building software in small, high-velocity, self-directed teams
• Take ownership for the delivery and impact of your work throughout the SDLC, through design, build, test, deploy, maintenance, and support
• Have experience working with US-based engineering teams
• Be able to work online 9am to noon US-Eastern daily. Working hours for other parts of the day are flexible
• Be an effective communicator; we are a small team, and you will be involved in every aspect of projects
• Have strong competency in at least one–ideally both–of the Java programming language or Typescript/Node.js ecosystem
• Have the capacity to learn other languages and frameworks, as necessary
• Have experience with creation, deployment, and management of Docker containers
• Have experience with the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Be excited to learn new technologies and contribute wherever needed

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the mabl engineering team, focused on improving the integration between mabl’s low-code, AI-native test automation platform and third-party software systems
• Upgrade and support existing integrations
• Extend integrations based on customer needs
• Build new integrations with third-party software that includes, but is not limited to collaboration tools, test case management (TCM) systems, CI/CD platforms, and other test frameworks
• Seek out and incorporate customer feedback continually
• Resolve customer issue escalations by implementing code fixes or identifying workarounds
• Measure and track customer adoption and engagement with the integrations
