Software Engineer

Summary

Join NICE Actimize, a leading provider of financial crime, risk, and compliance solutions, as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Contribute to the design and development of product features for a modern, web-based application supporting both on-premise and cloud deployments. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from building Java-based applications and developing infrastructure to participating in design and code reviews and supporting CI/CD deployments. This role requires 2-4 years of experience in Java development and web applications, familiarity with OOD/OOP, experience with SQL and relational databases, and experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Requirements

• 2-4 years of industry experience in Java Development and Web Applications
• Comprehensive familiarity and proven experience in OOD/OOP
• Experience with SQL and relational DB environments such as Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and drive
• Excellent communicator with good spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership over the development-lifecycle of features according to design documents and enterprise software standards
• Design and develop for multiple platforms, databases, and application servers
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology, and tools
• Interface with various R&D groups and support tiers
• Develop web-based applications for large organizations, ensuring robust solutions for both On-Prem and Cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Frontend experience in Vue.js, Angular, or React
• Experience with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins etc.)
• Knowledge in secure code practices
