Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer at Parity, a core blockchain infrastructure company. The role involves working on the design, implementation, testing, and release of the new version of Zombienet-sdk, as well as contributing to the maintenance of the TypeScript (v1) version of the tool.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience in Rust or interest in learning it
• Experience and enthusiasm for working with JavaScript/TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Working on the design, implementation, testing and release of the new version of Zombienet-sdk
• Authoring documentation and learning material related to the new version
• Migration of the current workload from TypeScript version to SDK
• Contribute to the maintenance of the TypeScript (v1) version of the tool
• Help the team to explore and understand new use cases from the developers community
• Contribute to the performance and observability enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to come up with technical solutions and application architecture
• Hands on experience with Observability
• Some ability to work with infrastructure technologies (e.g k8s) is highly beneficial to understand the big picture and how all the things are wired together
