Software Engineer

Summary

Join Platform Science's Video team as a Software Engineer to maintain and enhance our video product, a critical component of our platform. You will contribute to the stability, performance, and evolution of a core offering, driving innovation and increasing operational efficiency. Your work will directly impact road safety for our customers. We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience in API and UI software development, relational databases, and basic test automation. This is a remote position based in Brazil. We offer a collaborative and engaging work environment.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• API software development with Kotlin / Java and Node.Js or similar
• UI software development with React, Angular or similar
• Relational database experience (Postgres, MySQL, etc)
• Basic test automation (Unit and Integration)

• Maintain and enhance our existing video product, a critical component of our platform

• Directly impact road safety for our customers, making a difference in their daily operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud software development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with Event-Driven systems
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar)
• Non-relational databases (ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis)
• Serverless computing (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions)
• Some mobile software development experience (Android)
