Software Engineer

Summary

Join our internal Platform team where you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our development lifecycle. Our team is dedicated to enhancing core services through API gateways, leveraging best practices and patterns to streamline processes. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to internal tooling and libraries, ensuring seamless integration with our CI/CD pipelines. You’ll also help with enforcing quality guidelines and maintain some aspects of our infrastructure such as cloud-based developer environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of coding experience with at least one modern language such as Javascript, Elixir, Go, Ruby, or Rust, with function-oriented design
• Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems
• Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in optimizing our development lifecycle
• Contribute to internal tooling and libraries, ensuring seamless integration with our CI/CD pipelines
• Help with enforcing quality guidelines
• Maintain some aspects of our infrastructure such as cloud-based developer environments

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer on an Agile development team, in a hyper-growth SaaS setting
• Experience working with component libraries and/or building a component library from the ground up
• Passion for mentoring your peers and problem-solving
