Join Protex AI, a VC-backed technology company, and become part of the Applied Computer Vision Team. We are building a privacy-preserving computer vision platform for proactive Health and Safety workflows. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will work on complex distributed systems, plan and execute features, and deploy solutions on edge devices. This role requires proficiency in Python and C++, 5+ years of software development experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and experience with C++
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality products at scale
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• You desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow
• Despite having roots in back-end development, you enjoy being a generalist, occasionally working on front-end or infrastructure as needed to solve problems and delight our users

Responsibilities

• Work and build solutions within complex distributed systems
• Plan and execute entire features, collaborating with peers
• Deploy your features on Edge devices within client environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Previous experience with Computer Vision applications
• Experience with real-time Image/Video Processing
