Software Engineer

Summary

Join Qomodo's tech team as a fully remote Software Engineer! Work on primarily back-end projects using a variety of technologies, including low/no-code tools. You'll play a key role in building the ecosystem supporting Qomodo's merchant network. This position offers significant freedom and responsibility with minimal bureaucracy. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of software development experience and expertise in various technologies and methodologies. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer (preferably in a product or tech company)
• Professional experience with: JavaScript/TypeScript, NextJS/NestJS, React, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker
• Knowledge and application of concepts or practices such as Domain Driven Design, eXtreme Programming, Test Driven Development, DevOps
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Curiosity, empathy, and a strong sense of ownership
• Willingness to grow with the team
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Residency in Italy (direct employment only, no freelancers or contractors at the moment)
