Summary
Join Revalize, a global leader in sector-specific software solutions, as a Software Developer. You will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications using VB6, VB.NET, and C#. Collaboration with product owners and stakeholders is key, as is participation in Agile ceremonies. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, proficiency in C# and Revit, and a strong understanding of OOP principles. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is needed. Familiarity with optical engineering and Agile development practices is preferred.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Software development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Proficiency in C# and Revit
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and learning abilities
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality VB6, VB.NET, and C# applications for lighting applications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide technical solutions
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve skills and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong preference for education or experience with optical engineering
- Familiarity with Desktop Applications/Development
- Experience with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA)
- Proficiency in VB6
- Knowledge of Github actions
