Summary
Join Second Front Systems (2F) as a DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of software delivery and security in the defense sector. Work on Workshop, our newest product, delivering DevSecOps tools within an accredited environment. You will work hands-on with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines, automate templates, build optimized Docker images, and manage Kubernetes deployments. Requirements
- Configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to ensure efficient and reliable integration and delivery processes
- Develop and Maintain backend services and automation tools using Go, Rust, Python and Bash
- Expert in automating templates in GitLab to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Experienced in building and optimizing Docker images using libraries to support deployment needs
- Proficient in managing Kubernetes environments to enable secure, scalable, and reliable deployments
- Strong commitment to documenting applications and process you create
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to ensure efficient and reliable integration and delivery processes
- Develop and maintain backend services and automation tools using Go, Rust, Python, and Bash
- Automate templates in GitLab to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Build and optimize Docker images using libraries to support deployment needs
- Manage Kubernetes environments to enable secure, scalable, and reliable deployments
- Maintain strong commitment to documenting applications and processes you create
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-7 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, Python, Bash, and Typescript
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect and/ or Azure Solutions Architect
- Experience in systems administration, systems or software engineering, and/ or computer science
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and building optimized images
- Strong interest in matters of national security
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Ability to adopt, create and iterate on changing procedures
