Software Engineer

Summary

Join Tavus, a Series A company building the human layer of AI, as an experienced ML-focused Software Engineer. You will be part of the applied ML team, developing new features using computer vision and NLP models, taking ownership of ML Ops tasks, designing experiments to improve generative AI models, and improving existing technical foundations. The ideal candidate possesses 2-3 years of software development experience, deep Python and PyTorch expertise, video processing knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• Be a self starter with a "get-stuff-done" attitude, highly motivated, and eager to learn
• Have at least 2-3 years of industry experience in software development or adjacent positions
• Have deep experience with Python and PyTorch
• Be knowledgeable about video processing or video streaming
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for Tavus utilizing computer vision and NLP models
• Take ownership of some key ML Ops items such as testing, CI/CD, or data processing pipelines
• Design and test new experiments to improve our core generative AI models
• Improve our existing technical foundations, and influence our technical direction and strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Have infrastructure and architecture experience (dev-ops, ml-ops)
• Have experience developing low-latency applications (algorithm optimization, threading, multiprocessing, queue systems)
• Have trained or fine-tuned your own LLM
• Have experience implementing research papers
• Have played Portal 1 and 2
