Software Engineer

Summary

The job is a permanent engineering position at a $20 million seed stage start-up focused on 10-minute grocery delivery. The role involves working in a cross-functional product team, making architectural decisions, and ensuring optimal experiences for customers, riders, and warehouse teams.

Requirements

• Someone who takes pride in readable, well-designed and well-tested software
• Enjoys collaborating with both technical and non-technical departments
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres)

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross functional product team to develop solutions to ensure optimal experiences for our customers, riders, and our warehouse teams
• Take part in decisions related to how we undertake new projects, gather requirements and scope out projects with the rest of the team
• Be responsible for getting your code to production and supporting it
• Enjoy the autonomy, uncertainty and unpredictability that comes with an early stage company
• Participate in the recruitment process
• Be actively involved within the team to provide mentoring and coaching, helping others grow as you learn and grow yourself
