Software Engineer

Summary

Vercel is seeking an experienced engineer to join its Edge team. The role involves building and improving infrastructure, scaling systems, and working with backend engineers and product teams. The candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, deep experience with high-performance cloud systems, knowledge of web servers, network protocols, and be comfortable in Golang. Familiarity with Cloud Services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), Terraform, Kubernetes, Lua, React, and Next.js are nice-to-haves. Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Deep experience with how to make high performance systems scale in the cloud
• Knowledgeable and experienced with web servers, network protocols
• Comfortable in Golang
• Familiarity with Cloud Services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)

Responsibilities

Help to scale and improve Vercel's infrastructure, availability, and reliability by working with backend engineers and product team to identify problems, create tooling and automation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Lua, React and Next.js are nice-to-have!
