Software Engineer

You will contribute to projects involving authentication, authorization, permissions, access control systems, and secure storage for PII user data. Requirements

• Have 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience, building scalable systems that can handle millions of users
• Have experience with large distributed systems handling substantial traffic
• Have previous experience at a hyper-growth startup
• Be a self-starter who can hit the ground running with little direction
• Be self-driven with a result-oriented mindset
• Have excellent communication and writing skills
• Have exceptional coding skills and the ability to ship new products lightning-fast
• Have knowledge in areas like cryptography, networking, authentication, and authorization
• Have experience in implementing security measures such as encryption, access controls, data minimization, and regular audits to safeguard PII

• Work in cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams, allowing you to directly shape the security and integrity of our user account systems
• Minimize risk and potential abuse by ensuring robust authentication, authorization, and access controls across our environment
• Empower other teams to move fast without compromising user trust by delivering secure-by-default infrastructure, scalable permissioning systems, and reliable storage for sensitive user data
• Contribute to solving some of the most complex technical challenges we face today and help define future engineering initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a prior experience in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP) using Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Terraform
• Have a startup experience at high-growth companies
