Software Engineer

Summary

Join Workstream, a mission-driven company building premium software for hourly businesses, as a full-time Software Engineer. You'll support our Payroll product, provide technical support to US clients, troubleshoot bugs, and contribute to new features. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related major
• 5+ years of working experience in application development
• Proficiency in at least one of the following NodeJS development frameworks: ExpressJS or NestJS
• Proficiency in ReactJS
• Experience building scalable systems and test-driven CI/CD commitment to quality software development
• Experience with SQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns
• Keep up with the latest technological trends and continuously improve productivity
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work following the US time zone
• High-speed and stable primary and backup internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
• Willingness to attend occasional in-person meetings in Metro Manila

Responsibilities

• Investigate, identify, and fix software bugs reported by clients
• Provide timely L3 technical support to clients within the US time zone
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client issues and improve software performance
• Document bug fixes and troubleshooting methods for future reference
• Help in developing new software features
