Remote Software Engineer

Join our growing team as a Software Engineer and contribute to developing new software features while providing support to our US customers.

Requirements

• With 5+ years of working experience in application development
• Proficiency in at least one of the following NodeJS development frameworks: Express, NestJS, Django or Flask, or in Ruby on Rails
• Experience with building scalable systems and test-driven CI/CD commitment to quality software development
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB, have a comprehensive understanding of the decision-making process between SQL and NoSQL database
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as Redis or Memcached
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
• With a strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns
• Can keep up with the latest technological trends and continuously improve productivity
• Must have some experience in the front-end and have used ReactJS in the past
• Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be willing to work following the US time zone
• Must have a high-speed and stable primary and backup internet connection (at least 10 Mbps). Please note that we will require you to submit a document showing a screenshot of your speed test results and computer specs
• Must be willing to attend occasional in-person meetings in Metro Manila

Responsibilities

• Investigate, identify, and fix software bugs reported by clients
• Provide timely L3 technical support to clients within the US time zone
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client issues and improve software performance
• Document bug fixes and troubleshooting methods for future reference
• Help in developing new software features
