Requirements

Embodies Grammarly's EAGER values, inspired by MOVE principles, able to collaborate in person 2 weeks per quarter, and brings at least three years of experience in back-end development, excellent software engineering fundamentals, some experience with AWS or other cloud offerings, has experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale, cares about the end-user experience, and is able to travel if necessary

Responsibilities

Start building and pushing code in the first week, ship impactful features in the first few months, build and support production services, target high availability for consumers and enterprise customers, learn how to build infrastructure as code (IaC), collaborate with internal teams, contribute to an engineering culture, evaluate systems and technology, and have the opportunity to mentor new hires
