Summary

Join Feedzai's Customer Success Engineering Team as a Software Engineer and play a key role in ensuring seamless product installation, configuration, and customization for clients. You will work with a variety of technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud environments, and messaging systems, to develop custom integrations and enhancements to Feedzai's core product. Collaborate with a project team, including data scientists and project managers, to understand client needs, translate them into requirements, and execute on those requirements. This client-facing role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a consultative manner. The position involves full software development lifecycle tasks, troubleshooting, debugging, and deploying systems in production. You will also provide second-tier support for live clients.

Requirements

  • A BS or MS in computer science, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience
  • 2y+ experience in Java software development or other modern language
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Client engagement experience and ability to work with a client in a consultative manner
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Availability to travel up to 15%

Responsibilities

  • Execute full software development life cycle building integrations and enhancements to Feedzai core product
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Integrate multiple software components into a fully functional software system
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy and support systems in production
  • Comply with best practices and industry standards
  • Work with Agile principles to regularly deliver quality products
  • Ensure proper feature deployment or product upgrades
  • Provide Second Tier support for clients that are live
  • Other duties as needed
