Software Engineer (Developer Experience)

Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript, or another language commonly used for tooling)
• An understanding of what good code delivery looks like, the challenges that arise, and a dedication to solving them
• Experience building tools that make it easier for engineering teams to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve the developer experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• A relentless focus on securing sensitive financial data, and ensuring platform reliability and performance
• A proactive ownership mentality, constantly improving platform resilience and efficiency, especially in the fast-paced fintech environment. We have a bias toward taking action

Responsibilities

• Solving complex problems that arise at scale
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD tooling to safeguard against unsafe code changes
• Optimizing canary rollouts, and streamlining release processes
• Proactively identifying and implementing significant improvements in deployment efficiency and development velocity, impacting the entire engineering organization
• Design and develop internal tools, libraries, and systems to enhance developer productivity and streamline engineering workflows
