Software Engineer (Frontend)

Summary

The job is for a frontend software engineer at Aerostrat, a fast-growing B2B SaaS company specializing in aviation maintenance planning. The role involves building user experiences, understanding customer needs, learning about WebGL-based calendar engines, and delivering high-quality code. The candidate should have experience with frontend development, AngularJS or similar frameworks, REST APIs, build pipelines like Webpack, and WebGL/Canvas. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and self-motivation are also required.

Requirements

• Significant experience with frontend development in HTML, CSS and JS
• Experience with AngularJS (1.x) or similar frameworks
• Experience consuming REST APIs and microservices
• Experience working with build pipelines such as Webpack
• Experience with WebGL and/or Canvas (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Build beautiful and effective experiences for customers
• Learn everything there is to know about aviation maintenance planning through the on-boarding process
• Build a deep understanding of how our users use Aerros, leading to fresh takes on how to improve their experiences
• Deliver reliable, high-quality, well tested code with speed and care
• Work with our business team to build great user stories and designs from ambiguous requirements or problems

• Care a lot about making an impact on the business since we have such a small team, you'll be shipping important features all the time
• A self-starter who gets excited about learning and improving anything possible since we are still constantly developing many parts of our engineering stack
