Software Engineer II

Summary

Join Clearco's Customer Engineering team as a Software Engineer II, contributing to systems and processes that interact with customers, partners, and internal employees. Design and build software systems with a focus on performance and maintainability, work in a fast-paced agile environment, and collaborate with other engineering teams to solve complex problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building web applications, ideally with technologies like TypeScript, Vue.js and Node.js
• Familiarity with cloud service providers, SQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with testing methodologies, including functional testing (unit, integration, UAT), automated testing, and performance/load testing
• Knowledge of NIX environments and operating system and browser details (including processes, threads and file systems)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Design and build software systems with a focus on performance and maintainability
• Be on the front-lines of both new product initiatives as well as iterations on our core platform
• Work on highly visible technical features and collaborate with other engineering teams to solve complex problems
• Work in a fast paced and energetic agile environment structured as individual sprints
• Contribute to core product projects as well as experimental work
• Participate in incident response and post-mortems, ensuring issues are resolved and learnings are applied
