Software Engineer II

Summary

Join Viator's Experiences Engineering team in Lisbon as a Software Engineer II and contribute to the development of viator.com, mobile apps, and supporting infrastructure. This is a remote-first, full-stack role with a focus on front-end development using technologies like React, Typescript, and GraphQL, while also involving some backend work. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment. Requirements

• Have experience with Java, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, and AWS
• Be hungry to learn new technologies
• Have experience with front-end development

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React, Typescript, and GraphQL
• Contribute to backend projects as needed
• Collaborate with product managers and designers throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in the full process from software design, to code, to test, to deployment
• Release code to production frequently
