Summary

Join FloQast as a Software Engineer II and play a key role in developing high-impact features. You will collaborate with teams and customers to define, prioritize, and build new features using React, NodeJS, and MongoDB, leveraging AWS services. Responsibilities include building user-focused experiences, collaborating on the technical vision, acting on customer feedback, improving engineering processes, and owning features throughout the SDLC. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of full-stack experience, proficiency in JavaScript and relevant technologies, and a track record of shipping high-quality products. This remote position offers a competitive salary ($96,000-$144,000 base pay range), benefits including medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, unlimited vacation, and participation in the Employee Stock Program. Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional full stack experience at 1 or more referenceable companies doing web app development, RESTful API design, or data modeling
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React, NodeJS, or MongoDB. Being able to think and develop in their patterns and practices. The more the better
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features to customers, and developing projects at scale
• Ability to quickly turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
• Motivated by taking a product to market, solving customer problems, and mastering your craft through the growth of the business

Responsibilities

• Build high quality, user focused experiences from the ground up with React, NodeJS, and MongoDB
• Leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as S3, Lambda, and Step Functions to get features to market quickly and efficiently
• Collaborate on our technical vision. Participate or lead discussions and implementation on multiple complex projects
• Continuously act on our customers’ product feedback, data, and growth needs to epitomize an agile environment by always working on the most important things
• Continuously improve our engineering process, tools, and systems to increase the team's ability to do more with less
• Fully own or pair on vertically sliced features through the full SDLC including code review, deployments, and production support of our applications and external API

Preferred Qualifications

• Have taken a product from 0 to 1
• B2B SaaS experience
• Practice TDD, BDD, or use of code coverage
