Software Engineer II

Summary

Join Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) as a Software Engineer and contribute to the development and improvement of software applications used in healthcare. You will analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products. Collaboration with users to define system requirements is crucial. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, along with several years of experience in full-stack development, database management, and cloud infrastructure. Up to 20% remote work is allowed, with mandatory in-office attendance for quarterly planning meetings. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 2 years of related experience
• 6 months of experience designing and developing software application modules using Spring MVC, Core, Security, and IOC concepts
• 2 years of experience performing full-stack development using HTML, Ajax, JQuery, and Spring MVC pattern to ensure separation between the presentation and business tiers
• 2 years of experience configuring and maintaining SQL database servers
• 2 years of experience managing cloud-based infrastructure
• 1 year of experience writing test cases for unit, functional, integration, user acceptance, and stress testing using JUnit and Mockito

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs
• Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Write new code and fix defects
