Software Engineer II

Summary

Join Spring Health, a leading mental healthcare provider, as a Data Integration Engineer. Reporting to the Director of Data Science, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust data sharing capabilities across our platform. This involves building new integrations, refining existing ones, and identifying necessary system evolutions. You will troubleshoot data discrepancies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data sharing processes meet quality, scalability, and security standards. The ideal candidate possesses at least 4 years of software engineering experience, proficiency in SQL, and experience developing API integrations. Spring Health offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base salary range of $120,000-$150,250, stock options, and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

• At least 4 years experience as a software engineer
• At least 4 years experience working with SQL (PostgreSQL and Snowflake preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and identify root causes
• Experience developing API integrations
• Understanding of software architecture best practices around proactive monitoring and performance optimization
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills working effectively cross-functionally
• High sense of ownership with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in data exchange processes

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust API, file-sharing, and data warehouse integrations with internal and external partners
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions
• Evaluate and evolve system architecture to enhance self-service capabilities and reduce manual intervention
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data sharing processes meet quality, scalability, and security standards
• Monitor integration performance and propose improvements to streamline data exchange operations

Preferred Qualifications

Preferably at least 3 years of experience with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript or Javascript
