Software Engineer II

Summary

Join Technergetics as a full-stack Software Engineer II and contribute to the Army Tech Marketplace project. You will develop modern UIs using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, build scalable backend services with Go and GraphQL, and work with various databases. The role requires integrating AI APIs and tools using Python and LangChain. Remote work is possible, and the position offers a competitive salary ($90,000-$115,000 annually) and benefits. US citizenship is required due to security clearance needs. This is a full-time exempt position.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a computer science, computer engineering or closely related discipline
• At least two years of full-stack development experience
• Comfortable jumping between frontend, backend, and infrastructure tasks
• Take initiative, communicate clearly, and collaborate well in a distributed team
• Curious about the intersection of software, data, and AI
• Strong hands-on experience with React
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript
• Familiarity with Tailwind , HTML, and CSS
• Proficiency with Go (Golang)
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs, ideally with Apollo Router
• Comfortable with relational and in-memory databases ( PostgreSQL , Redis )
• Experience working with Docker
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of Python
• Experience using or integrating LangChain or LLM APIs (OpenAI, vLLM, Ollama)

Responsibilities

• Developing modern, responsive UIs using React , TypeScript , and Tailwind CSS
• Building scalable backend services with Go and GraphQL (Apollo Router)
• Working with databases including PostgreSQL , Redis , and graph tools like Memgraph
• Contributing to infrastructure automation using Docker and GitLab CI/CD
• Integrating AI APIs and tools using Python , LangChain , and platforms like OpenAI , vLLM , or Ollama

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Vitest , React Flow , or Cytoscape
• Experience writing Cypher queries or using Memgraph
• Exposure to Dagster or similar workflow tools
• Experience with graph visualization libraries like Cytoscape or React Flow
• Contributions to CI/CD automation or observability improvements
• Prior exposure to AI pipeline orchestration or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
