Software Engineer II

Summary

Join Toast's Care Experience team as a Software Engineer II and build intelligent tools to empower customer service agents and customers. Design, build, and deliver features in Toast’s enterprise management products, ensuring quality through automated testing. Roll out features to customers and monitor their success. Collaborate with UX and PM on feature definition and design, partnering with various teams across Toast. Work with experienced engineers for design and code reviews. • Experience building backend services, APIs, or front ends

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver features in Toast’s enterprise management products
• Ensure quality by building automated testing for changes
• Roll features out to customers, including monitoring for success
• Collaborate with UX and PM on the definition and design of features
• Partner with a wide array of teams across Toast
• Work with experienced engineers to deliver design and code review

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building complex web applications with React
• Experience building android applications with Kotlin
