Software Engineer Intern

Summary

Join GameChanger's 10-week paid summer internship program for a Software Engineering role starting June 9th and ending August 15th. This remote-first internship offers hands-on experience developing features for our app used by millions. You'll collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and product managers, contributing to a CI-driven engineering organization. The internship includes a paid trip to NYC for orientation, MacBook provision, mentorship, and the opportunity to build industry connections. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and has an interest in video streaming.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or looking to make a career change
• Interest and willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge
• Interest in video streaming and how it works - from content creation to end-user viewing

Responsibilities

• Learn about video streaming at GC
• Collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, testers, and product managers on feature development for our app
• Build new features and fix existing ones in the GameChanger app
• Learn how to contribute to a CI-driven, scaled engineering organization
• Gain experience and mentorship from GC engineers
• Work with great people, an awesome product, and lots of fun together along the way!

Preferred Qualifications

Big plus if you have experience developing with iOS, Android, or back end development!
