Software Engineer Intern

Summary

Join the Software Team at Noah Medical and contribute to shaping the future of medical robotics. As a software engineer intern, you will design and develop software controls, make decisions on software architecture, build a stable foundation for future development, diagnose and debug software issues, and provide code reviews.

Requirements

• Enrolled in B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related engineering speciality
• Strong development skills in modern C++ and Python and object oriented programming principles (and the desire to learn new techniques and tools)
• Work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced start-up with minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently and the determination to solve challenging problems
• Experience in version control and unit testing with CI/CD. GoogleTest is a plus
• Familiarity with build tools like Makefile, CMake, or Bazel is a plus
• Experience with development of multithreaded applications with real-time considerations is a plus

• Design and develop software controls to characterize and control physical devices
• Make decisions on software architecture with a focus on correctness and maintainability
• Build a stable foundation for future development
• Diagnose and debug software issues throughout multiple domains
• Provide and receive code reviews
