Requirements

• 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Javascript, GraphQL, React & PostgreSQL
• 4+ years of Datadog, Sumo Logic
• A leader who sets a positive example, spearheads technical initiatives, and garners respect from peers
• A trusted project planner, aligning priorities and documenting decisions with finesse
• An influential team player who also makes a mark on the broader Engineering and company levels
• A mentor and supporter, always advocating for architectural enhancements and engineering best practices

Responsibilities

• Seek leadership responsibilities, identify and spearhead new initiatives, and make systematic improvements to technical weaknesses you find in your squad’s codebase
• In your first week, you'll get your bearings, familiarize yourself with our processes, with your team and you’ll make your first code contribution
• By the end of the first month, you'll have bonded with fellow engineers, gained a solid grasp of our systems, and started to suggest enhancements
• Two months in, you'll be fully integrated into our team, leading significant projects, and connecting with the wider HackerOne organization. You’ll also have released your first feature
• After three months, your technical prowess will be recognized, you'll have built trust within the Engineering team, and you'll be sharing your insights at our knowledge-sharing events
• Engage in Hack Week project, tackle a cross-team challenge, and let your innovative spirit shine
• Make sure our platform is scalable, well functioning and of high quality. You’ll work closely with Product Engineers, who work on customer- and hacker-facing features to make sure they are equipped with the right tools and tech to do their work
