Software Engineer, Performance Testing

We are seeking a highly skilled full-stack engineer with proven experience in performance testing and tuning React and Node.js applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about our mission and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced startup setting.

Requirements

• Be a trained and experienced (3+ years) full-stack engineer who has worked extensively with React and Node.js
• Have experience performance testing/tuning React and RESTful APIs
• Have experience creatively implementing shift left methodologies that demonstratively led to higher code quality
• Be a U.S. citizen

Responsibilities

• Develop and leverage tools to automate performance testing and monitoring
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure performance considerations are addressed upfront to reduce risk
• Help product teams resolve performance problems when they arise
• Help the Test Platform team make the application more tested and more testable

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience performance testing/tuning SQL queries
• Have experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines that make use of Github Actions (or similar) declarative pipelines
• Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes
