Summary

RYZ Labs is seeking a DevOps professional to build and expand their AWS infrastructure, automate tasks, ensure security and compliance, research and implement tools, monitor the system, and develop disaster recovery plans. The role requires expertise in Kubernetes, AWS Infrastructure, Events Based Architecture, CI/CD Solutions, Docker, programming skills (Python and TypeScript preferred), serverless experience, Vercel experience, familiarity with data pipeline infrastructure such as Airflow, and monitoring tools like Datadog.

Requirements

• Kubernetes Expertise: Experience in managing Kubernetes clusters and workloads (AWS EKS preferred)
• AWS Infrastructure: Experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools (Plumi preferred)
• Events Based Architecture: Experience working, managing and monitoring platforms based on events architecture (messaging with SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Kafka, RabbitMQ are a plus)
• CI/CD Solutions: Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery systems (Github Actions preferred)
• Docker: Proficiency in building and maintaining Docker images
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in a high-level programming / scripting language (Python and TypeScript preferred)
• Serverless Experience: knowledge of managing and working with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Serverless Framework, CloudFunctions are a plus)
• Vercel Experience: Experience working with Vercel Data
• Pipelines: Familiarity with data pipeline infrastructure such as Airflow
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Datadog is a plus

Responsibilities

• Enhance Aura’s AWS infrastructure to support our rapidly growing user base and engineering team
• Identify repetitive tasks and develop tools to automate them
• Simplify complex and error-prone processes with efficient solutions
• Develop tools and policies that provide engineers with necessary access while maintaining security and compliance
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new infrastructure and tools to support new product features
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and actionable alerting to maintain high operational standards for the Aura platform
• Proactively manage and optimize cloud resources to control costs and maximize efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system alerts in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with messaging (SNS, SQS), EventBridge, Kafka, RabbitMQ are a plus
