Summary

Join SentinelOne's dedicated platform team as an Intern Software Engineer and contribute to core components of our flagship SaaS platform. Work alongside experienced engineers, receiving mentorship and support while building your skills and solving real engineering challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in the full feature development lifecycle, and contribute to code reviews. Gain exposure to scalable, customer-centric solutions and learn about deployment practices and CI/CD pipelines. This 6-month internship (July-December) offers hands-on learning and the chance to contribute to a fast-growing cybersecurity company.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity (through coursework, projects, or internships) with at least one programming language such as Java or Python
  • Eagerness to learn, a collaborative mindset, and motivation to work on impactful software solutions
  • No prior full-time experience requiredโ€”projects, internships, or academic experience are valued

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate Across Teams : Work with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements, with guidance and mentorship from senior colleagues
  • Participate in Feature Development : Engage in the full feature development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment to production
  • Contribute to Code Reviews : Participate in code reviews, focusing on performance, quality, and best practices

  • Join On-Call Rotation : Prepare for future on-call responsibilities by initially shadowing senior colleagues, gaining the confidence and skills needed to get fully onboarded to operating our services in production
  • Learn and Apply Deployment Practices : Gain knowledge of our deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines, with opportunities to contribute to their execution and improvement

Preferred Qualifications

An interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and basic understanding of their storage or database services is a plus
