Requirements

• At least 6 years of leadership experience in software development
• Proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js)
• Experience with event-driven architectures and cloud-native development
• Strong background in event streaming systems such as Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis
• Expertise in AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB)
• Ability to manage complex IT projects and work effectively across multiple teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on the latest technologies and industry trends

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of software development, from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Work with a diverse team to deliver innovative solutions in an agile environment
• Actively participate in code development, technical discussions, and code reviews
• Mentor junior engineers to grow their skills
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure software development aligns with our strategic goals
• Introduce and champion new technologies and development methodologies
• Simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement efforts through code refactoring, process automation, and optimization of development processes
