Software QA Engineer, Remote - United States

Summary

IntelliShift is seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer to develop and execute automated tests for their software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in agile/scrum methodology, familiarity with various testing tools, and excellent communication skills. This is a remote position requiring Eastern Time Zone hours.

Requirements

• Familiarity of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of test management software such as TestRail, Test King, JIRA, DevOps, and/or TestLink
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber or SpecFlow)
• Familiarity with Jira or other Agile project management tools
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices
• Experience in performance and security testing
• Proven experience as a QA engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in agile/scrum methodology
• Experience with mobile application testing
• Experience in testing B2B software

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand product requirements and design appropriate tests
• Participate actively in all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives)
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and processes
