Software QA Engineer

Requirements

• Possess strong analytical and communication skills
• Have experience in development and testing, with programming skills in Java, Python, or Javascript
• Have experience in test automation / API test development, utilizing design patterns and automation framework development from scratch
• Possess a solid understanding of AGILE methodologies and practices
• Possess a solid understanding of QA methodologies, including planning and strategy design
• Demonstrate creativity, ownership, and adaptability
• Hold ISTQB Certifications
• Possess excellent issue isolation, troubleshooting, and debugging skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software applications using Java, Python, or Javascript
• Develop and implement test automation and API test development, utilizing design patterns and automation framework development from scratch
• Create a QA strategy and solutions for early feedback
• Speed up deliverables by preventing and finding bugs faster
• Lead and mentor other QA Engineers
• Predict common user workflows in order to design effective tests
• Isolate, troubleshoot, and debug issues

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Postman, Newman, Webdriver, Protractor, TestNG, Maven, Testcafe, Nightwatch, Jira, and DevOps practices like CI/CD
