Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance , with at least 3+ years in a leadership or senior-level role managing QA teams or initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and implementing test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and/or API applications
- Strong proficiency with common programming/scripting languages used in test automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C# )
- Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, Postman, Rest Assured )
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the build process
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and implement the overall QA strategy and roadmap, aligning it with company objectives and product release cycles
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient test automation frameworks and solutions (e.g., UI, API, performance, security automation). Drive the adoption of automation best practices across all projects
- Build, mentor, and grow a talented team of QA engineers and automation specialists. Foster a culture of quality, continuous learning, and innovation within the team
- Establish and optimize QA processes, methodologies, and standards (e.g., test planning, test case management, defect tracking, release criteria)
- Work closely with product management, engineering leads, and other cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment
- Oversee the creation of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data. Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report on quality metrics
- Establish effective defect reporting, tracking, and resolution processes
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement QA tools and technologies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Guide the implementation of performance, load, and scalability testing strategies to ensure product robustness
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of security testing principles and tools
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level, Certified ScrumMaster)
- Experience with data quality assurance for data-driven applications
