Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with mobile testing
  • Ability to define, design, develop & maintain test automation frameworks
  • Experience using industry-standard mobile testing tools like UI Automation for iOS, Espresso for Android and/or Playwrite for Web
  • Author manual test cases based on product spec Figma UI Design and automate them as part of a feature delivery team
  • Ability to identify and root cause Automation test and app failures
  • Support weekly release regression of the app by automation and manual testing and providing sign-offs
  • Ability to formulate test strategies, test methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience coordinating/working with teams located in different timezones
  • Knowledge of Product life cycle, release metrics, and goals. Understand the full lifecycle of Product development and release metrics
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications on frontend (web & mobile), backend, APIs, and databases
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of the mobile & web applications
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement with a data-driven and proactive approach to resolution
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and provide design, functionality, and usability feedback
  • Perform regression testing and ensure new features do not adversely affect existing functionalities
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Espresso, UIAutomation, and Playwrite
  • Monitor application performance and provide insights for improvements
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing expertise to improve team efficiency and delivery cadence
  • Improve testing processes, techniques, and technologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency
