Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in STEM field, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree requiring systematic/analytical thinking
  • Up to 2 years scripting and/or OOP programming experience (Python, etc.); new grads will be considered
  • Curious engineer who likes to know why things break, with a passion for testing
  • Experience in Test Framework development and maintenance
  • Proficiency in Linux OS
  • Familiarity with an Issue Tracking system (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases and scenarios for software applications in an agile software development environment
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure the quality of software products
  • Conduct end-to-end application testing across hardware, virtual and cloud environments
  • ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝPush Quality to the Leftโ€ to identify and address issues early in designs, code, and processes to improve overall quality
  • Continuously enhance testing processes and expand test coverage
  • Document and track defects to resolution using JIRA or similar tools
  • Manage and configure test environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Cybersecurity experience
  • Background in Cloud and/or other virtualization technologies
  • Familiarity with networking, database, coding/scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, etc.), and application protocol (e.g., SSH, HTTPS, CIFS, etc.)
