Summary

Join the PAXE team at ServiceNow and work on Conversational AI Experiences that help employees and customers resolve issues quickly. Maintain and enhance automation test frameworks, collect and analyze quality metrics, and collaborate with developers on testing strategies. Develop comprehensive test plans and execute them with a focus on robust automation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications and development/test environments. Partner with engineering teams to achieve these goals. The role requires experience with AI integration, automated testing frameworks (Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG), agile methodology, and various testing techniques. A base pay of $106,600 - $165,300, plus equity, variable/incentive compensation and benefits are offered.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • 2+ years of experience with technologies relevant to SN and coding skills with high-quality results
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Hands on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) tools, frameworks, or platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, etc
  • Experience working within different automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG and other open-source projects
  • Experience with the agile methodology for software development teams
  • Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues
  • Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing automation test frameworks to ensure ongoing reliability and efficiency
  • Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics from test execution to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with developers to design targeted testing strategies for new features and automate them effectively
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and execute them with a focus on robust automation
  • Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications and development/test environments
