Software Testing Manager

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing both manual and automated testing
• Good comprehension of test automation principles and application strategies, along with manual testing
• Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures
• Experience in Test Automation with a strong grasp of automation feasibility and the ability to articulate strategic advantages over manual testing
• Experience with web and mobile test development
• Proven experience working with external clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
• Exceptional ability to negotiate stakeholder requirements and manage project demands
• Being analytical and detail-oriented with an ability to give constructive feedback to testers
• Proven track record of strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management, task delegation, and prioritization capabilities

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with a single client to deliver tailored solutions
• Understand and work within the boundaries of the project’s success and financial metrics, such as margin, target utilization, NPS, and more
• Actively participate in daily scrum calls, sprint meetings, and release discussions, including weekly on-site visits to the client’s workspace three times a week
• Partner directly with key stakeholders to align and implement effective testing strategies, ensuring seamless process integration and outstanding results
• Raise project and team-related risks, problems, and questions to the relevant stakeholders and take the initiative to solve them
• Define the testing strategy for multiple products within the client's digital portfolio
• Speak confidently about holistic testing strategies, including manual and automation testing flows
• Proactively define priorities based on the work backlog
• Ensure the Test Runs follow recommended approaches established within Testlio and account for client-side expectations
• Lead and coordinate Test Runs – identifying relevant scope, estimating needed work task efforts, verifying the testing environment, preparing relevant test plans/mindmaps/materials/guides and tools, building a team from our network of Test Leads and Testers following the unique criteria for the project, triaging reported issues, supporting testers, providing feedback and compiling meaningful end reports
• Review and provide feedback to test plans and tests created by other testing managers
• Monitor project quality KPIs and take appropriate actions to improve them
• Identify and solve technical challenges related to testing, such as simulating geographical locations, using network traffic monitoring tools, and so forth
